Terms of service
Draft. This has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on as final. It exists so there is something real to review, not a placeholder.
Who this is for
You must be at least [minimum age — confirmed per jurisdiction, §17] years old to use Wisp, and truthful about your birthdate — it can't be changed after you set it, and lying about it is the one thing that can get an account permanently banned with no appeal. You also need a valid invite: this is an invite-only beta, not open signup.
What's not allowed
- Lying about your age, or creating a profile for someone else.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or sexual content or coercion directed at anyone.
- Photos that aren't really you, or that show anyone else without their consent.
- Anything involving a minor being harmed, coerced, or exploited — this is reported to the relevant authorities regardless of how small the beta is.
- Spam, scams, or trying to collect contact info in bulk.
- Attempting to bypass moderation, block/report tools, or the eligibility rules that decide who can match with whom.

Contact exchange is your decision
This app doesn't have in-app messaging. If you and a match both choose to exchange a contact handle, you'll see a safety notice first — read it. Once a handle is shared, it's shared; we can't retract it, and we can't see what happens after you leave this app. Report and block remain available from the match afterward, and reporting never requires proof — say what happened even without a screenshot.
Moderation and enforcement
Every profile and photo is reviewed by a person before it's visible. Reports are reviewed by a person too — no account is ever automatically warned, suspended, or banned by a report count alone. We may warn, suspend, or ban an account that violates these terms, and preserve relevant records (see Privacy Policy) even after an account is deleted, specifically so a safety investigation isn't lost because someone deleted their account.
Pausing, deleting, and what survives
You can pause your profile (hidden from Discover, nothing deleted) or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Deleting removes your profile and photos immediately. Records of matches, reports, and moderator actions survive with your identifying details removed — this is the audit trail that lets us investigate a report filed weeks later, and it exists because this app doesn't keep message history the way a chat app would.
The legal boilerplate

The service is provided "as is"; we work hard to keep it safe and available but can't guarantee it will never go down or contain an error. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be waived under applicable consumer or minors'-protection law.
